As a fourth generation General Contractor, Jess, decided to create his own company Do It All (D.I.A) Construction, over 8 years ago. His favorite part of building is framework and when Jess re-found archery in 2021, he was reminded that his last name means “Bow-Builder”, and he felt inspired to build bows!

As of April 2024, Jess has built over 45 bows in poundages between 45 - 135#, 48”-77” long at 28”, as an American Flat Bow, English longbow, and Recurve. His current favorite bow is the “Raven Longbow”, which is 72” long, 80# at 28”, has a purple-heart wood core and handle, with black lamination that literately shines.

Jess is a USA Archery Level 2 Instructor. He has taught over 250 archers in Santa Clarita and the Frazier Mountains. He’s a State and Local USA Archery Competitor/Champion. Although his passion is for longbows, he also is a Bow hunter, and enjoys recurve/barebow.
